Resumo
Os contraceptivos orais combinados são utilizados no planejamento reprodutivo e no SUS, porém podem causar efeitos adversos e elevar o risco de eventos tromboembólicos. Objetivo Geral: Analisar os efeitos adversos e os riscos tromboembólicos associados ao uso desses contraceptivos no SUS, destacando a importância da farmacovigilância. Metodologia: Trata-se de uma revisão integrativa da literatura, orientada pelo PRISMA 2020. Foram pesquisadas oito bases de dados, com estudos publicados entre 2015 e 2026. Resultados e Discussão: Foram identificados 150 registros e, após duplicidades, triagem e elegibilidade, 45 estudos foram incluídos. Os achados evidenciaram cefaleia, náuseas, alterações menstruais, mastalgia e alterações de humor, além de diferenças no risco de tromboembolismo conforme a formulação hormonal e fatores individuais. A farmacovigilância mostrou-se relevante no monitoramento da segurança, e a atuação farmacêutica na orientação e identificação de riscos. Considerações Finais: A segurança depende da avaliação individualizada, do acompanhamento dos fatores de risco e do fortalecimento da farmacovigilância e assistência farmacêutica.
