Manejo emergencial da anafilaxia em crianças: protocolos de manejo iniciais e a eficácia no atendimento.

Resumo

A anafilaxia em crianças constitui uma reação alérgica grave, de início rápido e potencialmente fatal, cujo manejo adequado depende do reconhecimento imediato e da pronta administração de adrenalina. Este estudo, de caráter bibliográfico e descritivo, analisa protocolos nacionais e internacionais de atendimento inicial, buscando compreender sua eficácia, limitações e aplicabilidade na prática clínica. A revisão das evidências demonstra que a epinefrina intramuscular permanece como tratamento padrão-ouro, porém sua utilização ainda apresenta falhas relacionadas à dificuldade diagnóstica, à hesitação dos profissionais de saúde e a barreiras organizacionais presentes em diferentes serviços. Observa-se que a adoção de protocolos padronizados, associada à capacitação contínua das equipes, reduz complicações, internações e atrasos terapêuticos, reforçando a necessidade de estratégias que ampliem o acesso ao medicamento, melhorem o reconhecimento clínico e aprimorem a resposta emergencial. Conclui-se que a efetividade do manejo da anafilaxia em crianças está diretamente vinculada à implementação correta das diretrizes e à superação dos desafios estruturais e operacionais que ainda comprometem a assistência, destacando a importância de um preparo sistematizado dos profissionais envolvidos no atendimento.
