Gestação conta com transformações profundas na vida da mulher, marcado por mudanças físicas, emocionais, psicológicas e sociais. Envolve o desenvolvimento do apego materno-fetal, essencial para a saúde de ambos. Este estudo examina as principais repercussões da gestação precoce nesse apego, gestantes jovens de um hospital em Campo Grande, MS. Pesquisa descritiva e correlacional empregou questionários para avaliar o apego materno-fetal, depressão e sofrimento mental entre as participantes. Com um desenho transversal e abordagem quantitativa, o estudo incluiu 40 gestantes primárias, entre 15-22 anos. Instrumentos usados foram: Escala de Apego Materno-Fetal de Cranley, Inventário de Depressão de Beck e o SelfReporting Questionnaire. Resultados destacaram que maior parte das gestantes demonstrou sentimentos positivos, que não influenciou o tipo de apego materno-fetal ou nível de depressão. A análise pelo Teste G reforçou a ausência entre a idade e essas variáveis. Este estudo propõe uma compreensão profunda dos fatores psicológicos, sociais e emocionais que moldam o apego materno-fetal na gestação precoce. Conclusões destacam a necessidade de estratégias de intervenção personalizadas e suporte adequado para promover o bem-estar mental e emocional das jovens mães, alinhadas com as políticas públicas e práticas de saúde. Estudo reitera a importância da implementação de estratégias de rastreio e apoio à saúde mental como componentes integrantes dos cuidados pré-natais.
