Déficits funcionais residuais e os impactos no retorno ao esporte em atletas de futebol masculino profissional após a reconstrução do ligamento cruzado anterior

Resumo

Mesmo após a reconstrução do ligamento cruzado anterior (ACLR) e do processo de reabilitação, diversos estudos demonstram que os atletas frequentemente mantêm déficits funcionais que impactam o desempenho e aumentam o risco de novas lesões. Objetivo: Descrever e analisar os principais déficits funcionais residuais e seus impactos no retorno ao esporte (RTS) em atletas de futebol masculino profissional após a ACLR. Buscou-se especificamente identificar os déficit mais prevalentes descritos na literatura, analisar se há um déficit com maior impacto clínico no RTS, além de discutir se o tempo pós-cirúrgico é um fator determinante para o RTS O. A pesquisa foi realizada a partir de buscas nas bases de dados; PubMed, Scielo e Google Acadêmico, buscou-se publicações recentes dos últimos 05 anos. Conclui-se que não há um único critério que possa ser considerado suficiente para garantir o retorno seguro e eficaz de um atleta ao esporte, a literatura aponta os  déficits de fraqueza muscular e assimetria entre membros entre os mais prevalentes após a ACLR, além disso estudos demonstraram  que a tomada de decisão sobre o RTS baseada puramente no tempo não é suficiente e deve ser abandonada.
